The Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” will return for the 2022 All-Star Weekend to commemorate its 25th anniversary. They were first worn by Micheal Jordan during the 1997 NBA playoffs, garnering him the nickname.
The 1997 Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” was reissued in 2004 and 2012, with a low-top variant arriving in 2017. In 2022, it will have been ten years since the preferred color was last available for purchase.
Black, Varsity Red, and White make up the color palette. The Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” will have a Black leather upper with White accents on the mudguard, midsole, and outsole. The upper eyelets are shiny silver, with red branding on the branding parts.
